Training Center & KMC

Training & Learning Center

MRI has built a state-of-the-art Training Center that is spread is fully equipped with the latest technology to enhance the training and learning experience of the participants. The training center accommodates more than 100 participants and is can connect to different areas of the organization through a sophisticated wireless system. The training center can conduct any training activity successfully achieving all the development training purposes.

The training center hosts local and international trainers giving training on technical, social, inter-personal, and other skill set. Every training session is followed with a feedback to ensure the training program is effective and serves the purposes of the employees. The effectiveness of these training programs is reflected in the personnel performance of each employee. Training program has been a favorite of the employees and MRI training team constantly creates interesting and interactive learning programs to motivate the employees.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On-The-Job Training (OJT)

 OJT training, sometimes called direct instruction, is probably most rewarding and also the most popular method of training because it is most practical and real experience that can be tried and tested by the employee. For that reason, the OJT (On Job Training) program is of prime importance for our training calendar. The training requirements are defined by a committee involving the training coordinators, HOD (head of department), senior employees, and outside instructors, then the program is compiled in the annual training program as per ISO requirements and company vision. Finally, the training instructors are finalized and schedule is fixed. The training programs cover different subject and programs like 5S system, safety and environment, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, and technical operational subjects. The trainees are evaluated and granted a certificate of success.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Knowledge Management Center (KMC)

 

MRI has developed a unique method of knowledge transfer among employees through its Knowledge Management Center (KMC). In this busy world of deadlines, MRI’s tries to keep all its employees updated about the latest knowledge about the industry, product, process and even about inter-personal skills such as time management and leadership. The KMC staff scans for the latest information on various relevant topics and scans all the information to its employees through emails so that the employees can update their knowledge base at their convenience. It also houses a small library with technical data, industry reports, journals, news magazines, training videos, etc. so that the employees can read and watch the material at their convenience. At MRI KMC is focused on employee knowledge enhancement and satisfaction. Some of the other KMC activities involve:

·    Monthly Quiz program: Conducting a monthly quiz that questions the employees on different aspects of the company to test their knowledge and to motivate them for increasing their information about the company.

·    Suggestion Scheme: MRI has a very innovate suggestion scheme, whereby every employee suggestion is rewarded and the implemented suggestions are further rewarded with larger sum of money depending on the benefit to the company. Hundreds of suggestions have already been implemented as a result of this scheme.

·    Circulating Daily Slogan: It’s a sample caricature with sample quote to motivate the employees as they start their day. The topics include environmental and safety management, leadership, quality management, customer service, etc.

Distributing Presentations: The KMC distributes presentations and whitepapers to employees regarding technical subjects such as maintenance, logistics, production, new innovations, etc. This knowledge allows the employees to remain informed and updated with the latest advancements in the industry.
